PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

artsACT provides financial support to MusicACT for the production and execution of our Professional Development Program.

artsACT is the ACT Government’s arts agency. They provide policy and funding advice to government, manage the ACT Arts Fund and design and deliver a range of arts development initiatives, manage the ACT Government’s public art collection of over 100 artworks, oversee the development and management of key ACT arts facilities and maintain links with other arts and cultural organisations in Australia and internationally.


 

ORGANISATION FUNDING

Molonglo Group supports MusicACT for our Professional Development Program and our work to develop the ACT Night Time Economy.

 

Molonglo Group was established in Canberra in 1964. It originally focused on the retail industry but over the years it has diversified and expanded its operations to focus on property acquisition and management, and the development of residential, retail, commercial, industrial and mixed-use buildings and precincts.

APRA AMCOS provides financial support to MusicACT for our Professional Development Program and our work to develop the ACT Night Time Economy.

Capital Hotel Group provide accomodation for speakers and panellists who travel to the ACT for our professional development program and work to develop the ACT night-time economy.

APRA AMCOS consists of Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) and Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (AMCOS), both copyright management organisations or copyright collectives which jointly represent over 100,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in Australia and New Zealand.

PROJECT FUNDING

Live Music Australia has supported MusicACT for the “What’s On? Lots On.” Canberra Live Music Campaign.

The Live Music Australia program is a competitive grants opportunity for small to medium sized venues that support quality original Australian live music.

The Office for the Arts promotes innovative and competitive communications and arts sectors. Through their analysis, advice, and programs. The Office for the Arts aims to make digital technologies, communications services and cultural experiences better for everyone.
