Do you have questions about music contract legal rights?
Join us to learn an understanding of basic legal principles and how to get information and advice which can be essential to successfully make your way in the music industry.
MusicACT has partnered with national law firm Moray Agnew who are going all out to provide you the best possible introduction to relevant music industry law. Partner Emma Reilly has advised musicians and fought for music festivals to stay open. Emma is supported by Stuart Bryson a young recent law graduate keen to support the ACT's music industry.
First Emma and Stuart will provide you an introduction to music industry relevant legal concepts including contracts, employment and debt (i.e. how to get what you are owed). Second Emma and Stuart will provide all attendees with an information sheet on how to get relevant advice, including free one on one legal advice. Third they will conduct a roundtable session where you can raise and discuss you specific legal question or issues.
